Petersburg, Virginia · Coming Soon
A smaller home.
A stronger sense of place.
A new pocket neighborhood of thoughtfully designed homes surrounding a shared green, just minutes from Historic Downtown Petersburg.
A different way to live
Home can be smaller without life feeling smaller.
Ravenscroft Village brings a small collection of homes together around a shared green — creating a neighborhood where porches face people, paths connect neighbors, and outdoor space becomes something to enjoy together.
It’s a more personal approach to neighborhood living: less to maintain, more to experience.
Conceptual rendering
The homes
Thoughtfully sized.
Beautifully designed.
Phase One will introduce 7–11 individually designed homes ranging from approximately 600 to 1,500 square feet.
Inspired by the architectural character of Petersburg and Virginia’s traditional neighborhoods, the homes are envisioned with welcoming porches, pitched rooflines, classic proportions, and intimate gardens.
Inside, the focus is on using space intelligently — creating homes that feel comfortable and complete without unnecessary square footage.
Less house to manage.
More home to enjoy.
The shared green
The heart of Ravenscroft Village.
At the center of the neighborhood is something increasingly rare: space designed simply for people to be together.
A landscaped shared green gives residents room to gather with neighbors, sit outside in the evening, walk garden paths, or simply enjoy a little more nature outside the front door.
Private homes surround shared space, creating a natural balance between privacy and community.

Right-sized for real life
A home that fits the life you’re living.
Not everyone needs — or wants — a large house.
Ravenscroft Village is being designed for people who value thoughtful spaces, walkability, community, and the freedom that comes with owning a more manageable home.
That could mean buying your first home. Downsizing without giving up character. Living independently in a home that’s easier to care for. Starting a family. Or simply deciding you’d rather spend your time living than maintaining more house than you need.
Your home should fit your life — not the other way around.
Rooted in Petersburg
Historic character.
New possibilities.
Ravenscroft Village isn’t being built on the outskirts of the city. It’s being created on Harrison Street in the Poplar Lawn Historic District, approximately half a mile from Historic Downtown Petersburg.
Petersburg is entering a new chapter, with renewed investment in jobs, housing, tourism, advanced manufacturing, and downtown revitalization. Ravenscroft Village is designed to complement that momentum — new homes informed by the city’s architectural past while helping shape what comes next.
At the junction of I-95 and I-85 and just 23 miles south of Richmond, Petersburg offers the character of a historic Virginia city with direct access to the broader Richmond region.
Phase One
The village begins here.
The first 7–11 homes will establish the intimate neighborhood at the heart of Ravenscroft Village.
Homes will surround landscaped common space on the western side of Harrison Street, introducing the architecture, scale, and community-centered design envisioned for the village.

Looking ahead
A village designed to grow.
Ravenscroft Village begins with a small collection of homes, but the vision extends beyond Phase One.
Future phases envision a more connected, walkable neighborhood along Harrison Street — with additional residences, landscaped streets, and neighborhood-scale places where residents can gather, shop, or grab a cup of coffee.
The goal isn’t simply to build houses.
It’s to create a place.
